Frequently asked questions
Cloth nappies sound gross. What do I actually do with the poo?
Easier than you'd think.
While your baby's only on milk, the whole nappy goes straight in the wash. No scrubbing.
Once they're on solids, a flushable liner catches the mess: lift it out, drop it in the loo, done. You end up handling poo less than with disposables, not more.
How much extra washing is it, really?
About two extra loads a week, folded into the baby laundry you're already doing. Cold rinse, normal hot wash, line-dry in the sun. No soaking buckets, no boiling.
Do they really fit a newborn and a toddler?
Yes. The rise snaps adjust the nappy from 3kg to 15kg, so one set grows with your baby from newborn through to potty training.
How many do I need?
For full-time cloth, most parents run around 20 so there's always a clean batch while the rest wash. That's our Nappy-Free BillI set. Just starting, or going part-time at home? Begin with the 10-pack (our most popular) and add more later.
Won't they get smelly or stained?
Washed every 2–3 days and dried in the sun, they stay fresh and sunlight naturally fades most stains. The one rule: don't leave them sitting longer than three days before a wash.
